Abby Wambach retires from Soccer.

Abby Wambach scored an incredible 184 goals for the US Women’s National. In fact, over the course of her career, there were only eleven minutes during the 90 where Abby didn’t score. With this in mind, we turned her final professional match into a 90-minute retrospective, celebrating each of her 184 goals.

We aired this spot during the pre-game broadcast, directing fans to Twitter.

Personalized invitations were also delivered to Nike VIP’s. Their RSVP’s reached over 17.8 million people.

The match began.

Coinciding with the game clock, we posted one Tweet every minute, giving fans a play-by-play of all the goals Abby scored during that minute throughout her career.

Inside the stadium, ninety unique posters – one for each minute – were hung in the main concourse.

And when the match was over, this billboard appeared above W34th in New York City.
